THE APOSTLES AND
DISCIPLES OF JESUS
Each month during 2008 we
will concentrate in our worship on one of the disciples/apostles of Jesus.
Although we often think of Jesus having 12 disciples, a more accurate count
shows that he had 14 disciples (i.e. religious followers), who later also were regarded
as his apostles (i.e. messengers or those who are sent). In addition,
